Base Rate ($3,000)
Ideal for emerging or small health organizations with local programs. If you are currently relying on volunteer grant writers or members of your leadership team to handle grant writing, the Base Rate is designed for your needs. We can act as your part-time grant writer to free up time for running your nonprofit and to ensure grant deadlines and paperwork are handled efficiently. At this stage, federal grants may not be your immediate priority.
Standard Rate ($4,000)
Tailored for established health centers with multi-county or regional programs. If you currently have a small grant writing team with 1-2 members, the Standard Rate is the right fit for you. Hiring us as your part-time grant writer can bolster your development team's efforts to secure more grants, meet deadlines, and take on new roles within the organization. Your development team might be feeling overwhelmed or on leave; hiring Grant Writers for Health can help you maintain a healthy work-life balance without adding extra taxes and HR costs to your organization's operating expenses. Federal grants are within your interest or currently a part of your funding portfolio.
Select Rate ($5,000)
This rate is best suited for established health centers with multiple service sites. If you currently have a small grant writing team and are considering hiring a full-time grant writer at reduced salary and payroll costs, the Select Rate is the right choice. It's particularly beneficial if your team is stretched thin across various fundraising duties, resulting in missed grant opportunities. If federal grants play a significant role in your revenue, and there are grants you've been wanting to apply for but need more time or expertise for, this rate is for you. You are ready to hire, but adding another employee isn't feasible within your existing budget, making the Select Rate a suitable option.
Customized Rate ($7,000)
This rate is tailored for established health centers with multiple service sites or a consortium of organizations. If you are experienced in outsourcing and have worked with grant-writing freelancers in the past, the Customized Rate is designed for you. It offers the flexibility to adapt to your unique situation, whether you have a grant writing team and your organization is experiencing growth or you have strategically chosen to outsource most of your grant writing while focusing your internal team on donor cultivation, special events, research, or service delivery. You seek to collaborate with a trusted agency with expertise in healthcare or public health, and Grant Writers for Health can provide the tailored support you need.

Grant Research
$5,000 to $9,000 (sliding fee based on geographic scope and if federal opportunities are included)
This opportunity is perfect for health organizations seeking to secure grants and health centers looking to explore new funding options.
-
Our process begins with a comprehensive Grant Health Check-up, delving into your website, organizational documents, and fundraising profiles to identify areas where you can improve your public profile.
-
Following this, we will work closely with you to pinpoint the most suitable grant opportunities and develop a customized funding strategy to meet your specific needs. We meticulously review websites and use three search tools.
-
Our deliverables include a detailed Grant Research report, a tailored list of top funding opportunities, personalized strategy sessions, an 18-month Funding Development Plan, and a Grant Application Calendar.
-
Upon finalizing the list, our team will craft personalized introduction emails to engage potential funders. Finally, we will provide support in preparing a compelling Letter of Intent or Grant Application. This includes developing and submitting up to one grant application during the contract period.
This entire process requires a time investment of 4 months, with minimal involvement from your organization, helping you focus on your mission while we secure the necessary funding.
